The Founder Is the Continuum
We usually tell the story of entrepreneurship through the lens of companies: the idea, the product, the raise, the team, the exit.
But the deeper story is the founder’s journey.
A company is often just one chapter in a much longer learning curve.
After a decade of working with founder across multiple stages, I made this interactive timeline to map that journey more clearly: from seller to productizer, operator, architect, allocator, and steward. It is a way of looking at entrepreneurship not as a single startup event, but as the long work of turning labor into leverage, leverage into systems, systems into institutions, and institutions into something that outlasts you. And why as an investor, betting on the founder is the biggest leverage you can gain.
